Who are you?

We are WashingMachine, four students from ITIS A. Rossi in Vicenza, Italy. We build an autonomous robot for RoboCup Junior Rescue Line.
What is RoboCup Junior Rescue Line?

It is one of the most popular educational robotics competitions in the world. A fully autonomous robot follows a line through a simulated disaster area, overcomes obstacles, and rescues victims in an evacuation zone. No remote control: once the run starts, the robot is on its own.
Is your code open source?

Yes. We publish free, open-source tools for the whole Rescue Line community on our GitHub, and a free browser simulator. See the Resources page.
Do I need a robot to try your tools?

No. Our Rescue Line Simulator runs in the browser: build courses and program a virtual robot in JavaScript or Python, no hardware required.
How can a company support you?

We look for territorial partners who help cover the cost of components and materials in exchange for strong local visibility (press, social, official posters). It is transparent: partners can buy the parts we need directly. Get in touch from the Contact page.
